 Though the  President of USA Barack Obama’s father was from a developing country, the President is not interested in poor developing countries, preferring to hobnob with the  White Nations of the West, and those prosperous Nations in  Asia.  He visited India perhaps for political reasons and because pandering it  would help US political strategy against China.

Mar 21, Geneva: The resolution against Sri Lanka adopted by the United Nations Human Rights Council today is potentially damaging the regional relationships and South Asian Solidarity, the country’s Special Envoy for Human Rights Minister Mahinda Samarasinghe said.

The Western do gooders in Geneva plus India allege Sri Lanka committed war crimes during the  last stages of the War. They desperately try to depict Sri Lanka and its people as brutals.  Sri Lankan Government has vehemently maintained its stand that its forces did not commit such brutal, horrendous crimes.

There is enormous pressure on  Sri Lanka currently in Geneva to implement the LLRC recommendations.  There is no need for the international community to pass a Resolution in this regard.  Of the 135 main recommendations made by the LLRC,  the Government has already implemented closer to half of them.
